Social Media + Reviews Support Specialist

Come work on a dynamic marketing team that’s revitalizing and refreshing the perspective of an established brand!  We’re seeking a Social Media & Reviews Specialist that will play a key role in supporting the coordination efforts of our social media and consumer sentiments and turn brand fans into loyal customers.  There are three main areas of focus:

Organic social media including assisting with crafting responses to customers

Paid social media (ads for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube)

Reviews and reputation management

 

Do you also like working for a manager who gives you freedom and autonomy within your swim lane?  The ideal candidate will identify opportunities to influence public perception of the brand through audience and customer engagement and lead efforts to grow brand awareness and esteem through social media.  Social media metrics and KPIs will be a key measurement of success for this role.  Experience with SproutSocial, Hootsuite, or similar platform required.

 

Currently, the team is 100% remote but post-Covid, candidates will be required to come back into an office full-time. Candidates should be local to Atlanta. 


This is a full time role - C2C is not a option. Please no partners! 

 

What you’ll be doing:


    SOCIAL MEDIA:

  • Oversee day-to-day management of our paid and organic social media presence.
  • Concept and create social posts that attract new users and engage current users.
  • Collaboratively work in partnership with team leadership to create and implement social media strategies.
  • Work with other members of the Marketing team and external vendors to develop assets for posts.
  • Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice, and imagery.
  • Continuously improve social media presence by capturing and analyzing the appropriate metrics, insights, and best practices, and then acting on the information.
  • Create actionable plans to grow and maintain followers and their engagement on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • Track and report on KPIs weekly with successes, progress, and opportunities.

 

    CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT:

  • Improve the customer service experience from reviews and social standpoint.
  • Coordinate efforts to improve customer reviews on sites such as Yelp, Facebook, Consumer Affairs, and Google through campaign efforts and incentive programs. Experience with G2, Capterra, or TrustPilot will be very helpful.
  • Manage social media interaction messaging between customers and the company to ensure a positive customer service experience.
  • Monitor social platforms and internet chatter using social listening tools and Google alerts.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders on crisis communications plan execution.
  • Collaborate with other departments to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions.

 

Required Skills:


  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate social media and customer engagement management required
  • 3 or more years of experience in corporate marketing or communications required
  • BA in writing, communications, marketing, or similar relevant field + a minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate social media, customer engagement management, corporate marketing or communications required
  • MS Office, Hootsuite/Sprout Social/Sendible, or similar social media management software required
  • Fluency with social media KPIs, web traffic metrics, and SEO

 Additional Skills:

  • Outstanding communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to analyze what’s working, what’s not, and reinforce or refocus key messages accordingly
  • Excellent critical thinking, interpersonal, communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Analytics and Blueprint certifications are a bonus.
  • Sense of urgency and deep commitment to deadlines.
  • Experience with buyer personas and audience targeting research.
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success.
  • Commitment to collaboration and being a team player.
