Frontend AEM Developer

12 month contract (possible extension)

Our client, a global consulting firm, is seeking a mid-level Frontend AEM Developer for a large, high-profile client. The ideal candidate has 3-5+ years of AEM/JavaScript experience, has worked on large system applications, and enjoys interacting with both customers and team members to customize solutions for the client's needs.

Required Duties/Responsibilities:

• Work alongside software developers, architects, UX/UI team and product developers

• Discover, design, and build highly interactive interfaces and content that keep users engaged

• Slice, mark-up, and script interfaces and content on content managed, responsive websites/systems that work seamlessly on desktop, tablet, phone, and other devices

• Work with Adobe Experience Manager (CQ5 and AEM6)

• Work directly with servers and server-side: AJAX, JS

• Create events and listeners on content and interaction to produce meaningful reporting (Google Analytics, Adobe Marketing Suite, and other conversion tags)

• Leveraging APIs/Web Services and content of all types (REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, etc.)

• Delivering product and apps that are based on pre-existing wireframes, designs, or other client requirements

Required Skills:

• HTML, JSP, HTL (and other templating languages)

• JavaScript experience

• jQuery and extending/customizing plugins

• Extensive knowledge of Git and Git commands

• Bootstrap 3 experience

• LESS / SASS experience

• Frontend Frameworks and Task Runners

• Experience with MVC Frameworks (Angular, React, Vue)

• AEM (CQ5 and AEM 6) or CMS experience
