Senior Manager - Patient Accounting and Access

Our customer is seeking a Senior Manager, Patient Accounting and Access to join their growing team. The Senior Manager will be responsible for the overall direction of the following areas: HIM, patient flow, revenue cycle, scheduling and registration. It’s an exciting time to join our customer as they are beginning an EMR replacement, along with many other core applications.

This role is considered part of the IT Leadership team and will have 12+ reports comprised of Analysts, Enterprise Architects, and others. Previous experiencing managing external vendors is also needed. The Senior Manger position will require excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as good attention to detail and experience managing large cross-functional teams.

The position is REMOTE VIRTUAL, although some travel will be required on occasion, especially during implementation and critical meetings.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS INDLUDE:

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience required, including supervisory experience.
Must obtain and maintain assigned Epic certifications. Must have experience with patient access management, accounts receivable, charge services, supply management, case management, and HIM solutions.
Must have the ability to work nights and weekends as needed to support the business.
Must understand testing methodologies.
Must have experience working as an intermediary between technical and non-technical teams.
Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Visio).
