Our client is sunsetting several legacy applications and streamlining one new centralized platform for the organization.  A net new Business Analyst role is being added to the IT team who will function as a liaison with management, analysts, and IT staff.  The BA will also assist in the development of project specifications and implementation plans.  This resource should be strong in forms, data analysis, and data modeling.  Candidates should also have excellent communication skills.  

Candidates should have the following technical skills:

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, Teams, Visio, and PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of QMF or SQL and database structures
• Agile & Version One experience a plus
• Test Script writing and use of Test Rail experience a plus
• Knowledge of application design and software development methodologies

**This resource can be located in Atlanta, GA or Remote.  If local to Atlanta, candidates will return to the office in the future once the Covid-19 pandemic is controlled and the company implements a return to work.**

Job Specs:

• Develops project specifications, requirements and user stories in Version one or Jira
• Develops operational workflow to understand current and future state of a business process or system
• Coordinate, manage and execute projects and other tasks
• Research, analyze and resolve departmental system issues and concerns
• Develop and maintain statistical reports as needed on a daily, weekly, monthly and ad hoc basis for all levels of management
• Work with Product Owners and Subject Matter experts to devise and recommend solutions and options for system design and enhancements
• Work with SME’s to understand current business processes and systems and determine the requirements for future development.
• Facilitate and document discovery meetings and publish details in confluence
• Broad knowledge of the systems and processes of the departments and business functions they support
• Able to work independently with more limited direction from management.
• Handle multiple priorities simultaneously
• Coordinates supporting documentation for sprint planning and refinement
• Performs post-implementation follow up to ensure accuracy and resolution of problems identified in project proposal

Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience
• 3 – 5 years’ analysis, quality control, and information systems experience
• 2 years’ service as Business Systems Analyst or equivalent business and technical experience
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Math aptitude and basic accounting skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to work with programmers, coordinators, technical support staff, clerical staff and management of other departments
• Strong communication skills including presentations
• Ability to work with extreme time sensitivity
• Strong analytical aptitude

Education and Experience:

• 3-5 years QA, BA or Project Management Experience preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, MIS, or related field preferred, not required
