Salesforce CPQ Sr. Consultant
Our Client is a Platinum Salesforce Partner and provider of Quote-to-Cash implementation services. They help their customers with their enterprise Salesforce transformation needs through advisory, implementation, change management, custom configuration, and managed services.
One of the driving forces in the founding of the company was to create a collaborative and supportive culture. We asked the team “What do you love about working at our company?” the top three answers were: 1) The People 2) Teamwork 3) Collaboration. We invested over 7,500 hours of employee time to training in 2018. Paid Certifications, unlimited time off, dogs in the office, casual dress and limited travel are a few perks offered to everyone. We’ve come a long way in the short time that we’ve been around, and we are very excited about our future.
The Way We Work
We leverage a “hybrid” implementation methodology whereby we approach solution blueprinting in a waterfall fashion as we design the solution to limit customization and maximize the use of out of the box functionality and platform tools. Once the design is complete, we approach the build phase in an agile fashion as we demo the solution early and often to get feedback and buy-in from stakeholders and end-users. No two projects are the same and we empower our team to drive projects forward while collaborating with our team of experts. With less than 50 employees, we deliver enterprise-level solutions without the typical overhead and bureaucracy associated with larger consulting firms.
The Role – Quote-to-cash Consultant
You’ll be on the front lines building our solutions leveraging declarative development on the Force.com platform. An inquisitive nature, a solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to perform with little to no direct supervision will make you successful. You’ll create and deliver basic Salesforce training and documentation. When working cooperatively with others you may be asked to identify gaps where action can be taken and act to resolve the matters. You love the challenge of translating business-speak to technical-speak. Once that’s done you will use our best practices and implementation methodology to provide guidance to our customers. On some projects, you’ll provide post-production support. Our best consultants have the ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training. As you continue to grow in both technical abilities and executive presence, we will help guide your career track. Our company is a home, not a stepping stone. You will become a Salesforce Quote-to-Cash expert as you work on some of the most complex use cases for CPQ and Billing.
Our Recruitment Process
We know how tight the market is and aim to move through our stages as quickly and smoothly as possible. We’ll reach out to set up an initial phone screen. We want to get to know you, your experience, and your goals and how they align with our needs. Step two is a deep dive into your technical background. Be ready to speak specifics on your past projects, the why behind your designs, and technologies used. Step 3 is a chance to meet the team and demonstrate your technical and consulting skills on-site in face to face interviews, a practicum, and a mock solutioning session.
Preferred Skills and Education
Our Consultants have at least 2 Salesforce Certifications and a minimum of 3 years of relevant technology consulting or industry experience as a Salesforce Administrator. The right candidate should have experience with Salesforce CPQ (formerly Steelbrick), Apttus, Zuora or other Quote-to-Cash CRM solutions. A background in FP&A, Pricing, Billing and or Revenue Recognition is a huge plus. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year College or University is required.
