Our client is a Platinum Salesforce Partner and provider of Quote-to-Cash implementation services. They help their customers with their enterprise Salesforce transformation needs through advisory, implementation, change management, custom configuration, and managed services.

The Way We Work

The company leverages a “hybrid” implementation methodology whereby we approach solution blueprinting in a waterfall fashion as they design the solution to limit customization and maximize the use of out of the box functionality and platform tools.  Once the design is complete, they approach the build phase in an agile fashion as they demo the solution early and often to get feedback and buy-in from stakeholders and end-users.  No two projects are the same and they empower the team to drive projects forward while collaborating with their team of experts.  With less than 50 employees, they deliver enterprise-level solutions without the typical overhead and bureaucracy associated with larger consulting firms. 

The Role - Senior Quote-to-Cash Solution Architect

Their Solution Architects have at least 3 Salesforce Certifications and a minimum of 5 years of relevant technology consulting or industry experience as a Solution Architect. They are responsible for leading the Solution Blueprint phase of the project to ensure that the proposed solution architecture supports the business requirements across all Quote to Cash processes. They are responsible for creating and presenting architecture deliverables such as ERD models, Ecosystem and Integration diagrams, Visios, and Mockups, as well as reviewing their team’s deliverables for compliance with architecture standards, guidelines, and best practices. In later phases of the project, they expect their SA’s to mentor other project team members by providing timely feedback and promoting our culture of collaboration and leadership.  Solution Architects may also participate in the sales process to help scope and estimate future projects.  They operate with little to no supervision to stand up complex solutions on the Force.com platform. They are skilled communicators that exhibit strong executive presence and can present and defend the different point of views on various technologies to a variety of technical and business audiences. You’ll be given the freedom and responsibility to create solutions for and implement an emerging technology - Salesforce Billing.

Step 3 is a chance to meet the team and demonstrate your technical and consulting skills on-site in face to face interviews, a practicum, and a mock solutioning session.

Preferred Skills and Education

To be successful, the right candidate should have experience with Salesforce CPQ (formerly Steelbrick), Apttus, Zuora or other Quote-to-Cash CRM solutions and will have experience leading complex technical engagements and teams through end-to-end solution architecture design and implementation. The right candidate should possess knowledge of major Enterprise Architecture frameworks, key architecture governance models, assessment methodologies, underlying tools, and supporting processes. A background in FP&A, Pricing, and Revenue Recognition is a plus. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year College or University is required.
