Lead LiveOps Artist - 1145689

Our client is searching for a Lead LiveOps Artist to help manifest amazing content by driving the creation of 2D assets for in-game offers, events, and messaging. You will work directly with the Art Director, Product Team, and Product Marketing Team to ensure that volume of deliverables are accounted for and that they meet the quality and stylistic standards of the game. Art content will be done in a way that merchandises and inspires engagement but also helps to support the story or theme of each event and ultimately contribute to a fun experience that players will enjoy participating in. Responsibilities as a Lead may involve managing, providing feedback to, and collaborating with outsource teams as needed, depending on content cadence and growth.


● Provide image compositions, concepts, 3D renders using game assets, and finish quality illustrations and/or paintovers.

● Manage and support LiveOps Art and outsource studios, both locally and internationally, as needed.

● Communicating and collaborating with the team across multiple disciplines depending on content designs.

● Being passionate about digital illustration and taking pride in completing assigned tasks.

● Exhibit strong organizational skills and effective communication with other team leads and supervisors.

● Being open to learning and reacting to dynamic requests in a timely manner.

Necessary Skills:

● 3+ years prior experience creating LiveOps art, marketing art, or recurring image formats for in game events.

● Strong eye for graphic design with an understanding of how to visually merchandise digital products and experiences.

● Acclimate to and recreate the defined artistic style of the game and create marketing quality imagery.

● Utilize 3D rendering techniques with game assets using Maya, Blender, or similar for expedient image output.

● Able to contribute to cohesive storytelling by bringing together visual themes which support a range of concepts or value propositions. Even better candidates:

● Familiarity with Unity game engine.

● Experience creating or supporting mobile game UI.
