Tier4 Group, originally founded in 2014 as Robinson Key, emerged from a vision to revolutionize the technology recruiting industry. Our CEO Betsy Robinson was deeply experienced in recruiting and managing national accounts for major corporations and recognized a need for a more personalized and effective approach. In response, she embarked on a journey to create a boutique technology recruitment firm with a partnership-focused approach that would prioritize quality service and client satisfaction.
Our Inception and Evolution
Tier4 Group officially began operations in 2014. What started as a modest endeavor soon gained momentum as we demonstrated our commitment to delivering top-notch candidates and unparalleled service to our clients. In 2015, we hired our first employee, who remains a valued part of our team to this day.
In 2019, a significant transformation occurred when we acquired the professional services and security divisions from Atlanta-based Tier4 Advisors, which led to a rebrand as Tier4 Group. Our name is derived from data center classifications. A tier 4 data center is the pinnacle of reliability and availability, boasting uninterrupted operations to achieve the highest level of uptime. Just as tier 4 data centers set the gold standard in the technology industry, Tier4 Group embraces this commitment to excellence and reliability in its services, drawing a clear parallel to the highest level of performance. This strategic move to rebrand allowed us to collaborate closely with Tier4 Advisors and offer new and existing clients a comprehensive range of technology services, from vendor selection to recruitment solutions.
